My Marketing Expert Sought My Expertise...

And Complimented My "Amazing Marketing Brain"

You know I work as The Genius Cultivator, coaching and consulting entrepreneurs. People often ask me if I also have a coach. YES! Several! I benefit from outside perspectives, as we all do. For example, I've been working with marketing professionals to refine my business and reach the right clients. They have patiently helped me narrow my focus, helped me streamline my website, and have instilled in me countless nuggets of wisdom along the way. I am so grateful for their help! There has been a fascinating turn of events today: a marketing professional I work with, someone who helps me with marketing strategy, reached out for my help with a critical business challenge she is facing: managing business (and even personal) cash flow!

One of my favorite facets of life is community. Someone whose expertise is marketing needed my expertise in managing the money that comes from successful marketing. When we all grow each other, we all win. While many coaches and entrepreneurs focus on just starting a business, the real-world problem of effectively handling profits is a distinct and vital challenge. No matter how great your business is, if all of the revenue is flying out the back door, then did you achieve the wealth and freedom you wanted when you started?

This is not really relevant to this post, but I am so delighted that I am telling you anyway. During today’s conversation, as my marketing friend and I discussed these real-world business challenges and strategies around managing cash flow, she said that I have an "amazing marketing brain.” The marketing expert thinks I’m pretty good, too! We all need a confidence boost from time to time, right? I was overcome with giddiness and immediately had to come share with a couple thousand of my closest friends!

Back to the subject: This exchange perfectly illustrates what I do. I help entrepreneurs navigate the practical, recurring challenges of building a truly prosperous business. My deep background in financial services, including retail banking, commercial loan origination, and years coaching business owners, gives me unique insight into these areas, including the emotional complexities of money management. I can’t teach my HVAC guy how to work on HVAC units; but I can show him how to make sure that his HVAC business is operationally, strategically, and financially successful.

Never lose sight of the fact that it’s not just about making money; it’s about building a business that brings both happiness and prosperity, addressing the common issue of prioritizing one over the other. You don’t have to choose! You can have both! If even a marketing expert relies on my guidance for crucial financial strategies, imagine the impact I can have on your business.

If you’re an entrepreneur ready to address your real-world business challenges, cultivate your strengths, and achieve both happiness and prosperity, let’s connect.
